Learn the powerful IGROW coaching model that gives structure to a coaching session. Learn a questioning technique that helps the coachee to think through, take ownership and solve their own problems. Practice a full coaching session.
Facilitating Meetings and Delivering Briefings
Learn the Double Diamond model for facilitating meetings. This helps you structure meetings that start with open and creative discussion, move to consensus and then end with agreed actions. Other meetings need a clear briefing from the leader. You will learn and practice the four key elements of good briefing.
Running Motivational Appraisals
Whatever your appraisal system is like, running a formal appraisal meeting well is a highly skilled task. Learn how to plan, prepare and conduct appraisals that result in the appraisee walking away feeling highly motivated for the next 6/12 months whilst linking this to ongoing informal performance management.
Personal Power and Confidence
Learn where and how you may be giving your power away. Learn how to build your power and use it wisely. De-bug your brain so you are your best friend, not your worst enemy, making you feel more confident. Learn from the thinking patterns and beliefs of those with high levels of confidence. Learn how to express your growing confidence.
Persuading and Influencing
All leaders need to be excellent at persuading and influencing others. It�s what they spend their time doing. Learn how to boost your gravitas and credibility so that others will allow you to persuade them. Understand others� thinking styles, so you can influence them better by matching and pacing their style. Discover how to use these techniques will improve your negotiating skills.
Advanced Coaching (open to New / Dynamic Leader Graduates)
Once the basic coaching method and IGROW model have been practised, this workshop will help take your coaching to a deeper level. You will learn the six underlying principles used by expert coaches. You will get feedback on your current coaching skills to clarify where you can improve. You will learn how to make sure accountability stays with the coachee. You will practice giving tough love feedback. You will apply the Transactional Analysis model Parent-Adult-Child to coaching so that the coachee does not become dependent on you, but grows in self-responsibility.
DISC Profiling in Depth (open to New / Dynamic Leader Graduates)
With the awareness you have of Thomas International DISC profiling, you will be ready to take your learning to a deeper level. You will have completed your PPA for a second time to see how you have changed through the Dynamic Leader and you will be clearer on future development needs. You will learn the subtleties of the DISC system and become really good at 'reading' people in minutes so that you can communicate and influence them much more effectively. You will learn how to design communications that include the structure and language of each of the DISC elements, so that your communication will be understood by all.
